Our group is also interested in offering a performance opportunity to young people with challanges. If you have a child with developmental differences, autism spectrum disorder, or differently abled and are interested in a performance opportunity, Please complete link below.This has been an ongoing goal and we are trying to determine the interest in such a performance opportunity! Thank you! It is our belief that theatre has the ability to enrich the lives of all young people, and thus their families!

Amber Addair graduated in the top 20 of her class from Gabriel Richard Catholic. She will be attending Madonna University with a direct admission into the nursing program. She will be attending with a full scholarship. She was also awarded the Josephine Pisarcik Nursing Scholarship, The Jim Duffy Memorial Scholarship and the Dr. and Mrs.George Danz Medical Scholarship. She will also be a member of the Madonna University Dance Crew.

Abigail Socull is graduating from Riverview High School top ten, Highest Honors, Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa. 4.06 GPA with 24 college credits. She will be attending U of M Dearborn in the field of Psychology. Way to go, Abby!

Brendan Scherer is graduating from Grosse Ile High School as a salutatorian. He was accepted in the engineering school at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He received The Ken Hartwell scholarship from Michigan’s Downriver Alumni Association, as well Michigans Regents Merit Scholarship and the Golden Rule Scholarship! He has worked DYPAC Summer Program for 4 years- we are very proud of him!

Chayton Fivecoat is graduating 3rd in his class from Wyandotte’s Roosevelt High School (Also, the Alma Mater of one of his mentor’s- Dr J!). He has been accepted into the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) Honor’s College. He will be majoring in Biochemistry while on the premed track with the goal of one day becoming a cardio-thoracic surgeon. An outstanding young man!

Aiyanna Fivecoat was recognized by the RHS Drama Department as the “Freshman Rising Star” after her first performance in musical there as Andrea in Once on this Island. She has also has been awarded membership in the Main Street Opera Theatre’s Children Chorus.

Congratulations to all of our 2017 Graduates! It has been such a pleasure to know you and watch you grow! Watch out, world!

Parker Watson was interviewed by Disney Magazine about his costume creations! He also received a back stage tour during the Broadway tour of Elf in Detroit!

Sam Ramirez was hired as the Drama Teacher at Roosevelt High School!
Not too long ago he graduated from Roosevelt! Those are some lucky students we think!

Jeanette Palmer and Cree Carrico live in NYC and pursue their love of theatre and performance! So proud of their dedication!

Tamara Walter lives nearby and is a vocal couch, performer, and Director- not to mention she is in a band! Art is part of her life!

Rina Belanger is creator of The Vintage Market! Again, art continues to permeate life!

Trenton Village Theatre

DYPAC, in cooperation with The City of Trenton, manages the *Trenton Village Theatre.* TVT is a gem of a live performance venue. It has an intimate setting and seats 355. Please contact Debbie Jackson at 734 673-9507 or for rental information and availability.

The beautiful stampted concrete was created by Reale Cement, who generously discounted the service.

Our beautiful new PURPLE draperies have been installed and the interior of the theatre has been painted! Thank you to St. John Painting and Homespun for their dedication to completion of this task! We are thrilled with the painting, the draperies, and the installation of the carpeting with our donor stars!
The TVT Courtyard is being remodeled. It contains a memorial fountain and
has a new decorative Iron Gate. Thank you to the Brown Family and the
Trenton Chapter of the Women’s Farm and Garden Association for making
this possible.

*Trivia Night*- *DYPAC*, *along with our community Partners*, *The Information Center* and *The Penrickton Center* host a fun evening of trivia and friendship, served with a light dinner. Join a table of eight to show (or hide) your trivia skills!
Tickets are $20 and proceeds go to the programs of the evening’s hosting community partner! All are held at the Westfield Building next to the Library at West and Westfield in Trenton. Winners receive a trophy and gift certificate along with a chance to return and defend their title! Dinner begins at 6pm, trivia starts at 7pm. Food, Fun, and Friendship! Summer Program

Our 2018 Summer Program is underway!
The information for our 2019 Summer will be our April 2019.
It is a six week summer program that runs three ays a week.
Parent’s may choose by the class and each class is 45minutes long. Parents may choose a single class or a full day of classes.
There is a choice of at least 4 classes per 45minute session.
Earliest drop off is 8am. Latest Pick up is 6pm.

Karen Rutkowski who handles show tickets does NOT have summer program information, so please do not call her with summer program questions. Thank you!
