We are so excited! We will be performing Junie B. Jones for a Field Trip series as well as one weekend of performances! It is such fun to being literary characters our children love to life! Teachers- email dypac@dypac.com if interested in receiving the field trip information! It is so wonderful to expose students to live theatre in such an intimate venue as the Trenton Village Theatre! This production is a new release so we are once again, so excited to perform it! Our alumni cast will perform. Field Trips will be in February and March. There will also be community performances March 6 & 7 for those not attending with a school group! Great for scout groups, too! Our group is also interested in offering a performance opportunity to young people with challenges. If you have a child with developmental differences, autism spectrum disorder, or differently abled and are interested in a performance opportunity, Please email dypac@dypac.com with your interest. This has been an ongoing goal and we are trying to determine the interest in such a performance opportunity! Thank you! It is our belief that theatre has the ability to enrich the lives of all young people!

Workshops for ages 5-8 and 9+ Begin Jan 3 with performance Feb. 8 Six weeks! – register by going to “performances and Auditions”. Class size is limited- $20 hold your spot. Ages 5-8 is filled, but ages 9+ have openings.

Thomas Huffmaster is officially an Eagle Scout of Trenton Boy Scout Troop 1721! His project is the informational board at the corner of West Rd. and Edsel, in front of the Trenton Cultural Center. Congratulations, Thomas! We are all so proud of you!

Lauren Pousak was awarded a community service award by Henry Ford Hospital. She delivered hand made cards to patients in the hospital for the Holidays! We are so proud of her! She thought of the idea on her own and her friends at DYPAC also helped her! She is a student at St. Joseph in Trenton and we are so very proud of her for engaging the philosophy of kindness!

Congratulations to all of our graduation seniors. It has been our sincere pleasure to watch you grow! We are so very proud of you and are so excited to share your exciting acceptance to Universities across the nation! We are so anxious to see where your talents and skills take you! And, to watch your kindness to others grow!

We love to engage our young people in service projects as they learn to show kindness and compassion!

Trenton Village Theatre

DYPAC, in cooperation with The City of Trenton, manages the *Trenton Village Theatre.* TVT is a gem of a live performance venue. It has an intimate setting and seats 355. Please contact Debbie Jackson at 734 671-2202 or dypac@dypac.com for rental information and availability.

Our beautiful new PURPLE draperies have been installed and the interior of the theatre has been painted! Thank you to St. John Painting and Homespun for their dedication to completion of this task! We are thrilled with the painting, the draperies, and the installation of the carpeting with our donor stars!
The TVT Courtyard is being remodeled. It contains a memorial fountain and
has a new decorative Iron Gate. Thank you to the Brown Family and the
Trenton Chapter of the Women’s Farm and Garden Association for making
this possible.

*Trivia Night*- *DYPAC*, *along with our community Partners*, *The Information Center* and *The Penrickton Center* host a fun evening of trivia and friendship, served with a light dinner. Join a table of eight to show (or hide) your trivia skills!
Tickets are $20 and proceeds go to the programs of the evening’s hosting community partner! All are held at the Westfield Building next to the Library at West and Westfield in Trenton. Winners receive a trophy and gift certificate along with a chance to return and defend their title! Dinner begins at 6pm, trivia starts at 7pm. Food, Fun, and Friendship! Call 734 282-7171 to reserve tickets!

Summer Program

2015 Summer Program runs June 23 through August 1.  Final Performances are on July 31 and August 1.  The 2014 schedule will be on-line April 2015. The best way to get information is to add your name to our mailing list!
Classes fill up as individuals register and some classes fill up faster than others!

Summer Program Information On-lin First Week of April! 6 week summer session! Fun for all!
Program runs June 23- August 1- You may take one class or many-
fee is per class- T,W,TH only- schedule you choose will be the same each day.
Classes are $70 and some have an additional material or script fee of $15.
A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your child’s place in the courses.
All children who register for a course will be in that course- this is a sign up-first come registration.
